Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Dayna, 29 years old, devoted wife & homeschooling mama of 3. I’m a Connecticut native and love exploring all this beautiful state has to offer. When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me having cozy movie nights with my family, reading a good book with a coffee in hand, sitting around a bonfire with friends, or going out on a fun date night with the hubby! But, when I am behind the lens, I’m usually capturing a family running carefree in a field, admiring a sweet newborn take in all their new surroundings, or tagging along for your date day/night as you show off the new rock on your finger (& of course bringing along some champagne!)
I pride myself in knowing that this isn’t about the paycheck for me. It’s about making my clients visions come to life, keeping those clients close and documenting their journey not once, but more often than not through all stages and milestones of life! I’m here to capture the fun, authentic, unique version of you and the love that’s made for movie screens. Dayna was such a pro! She gave us direction that was natural to follow and just let us be ourselves. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and by then end she felt like family. She was so creative and truly captured our family in a way that we've never had done before. When she delivered our photos, I burst into tears because of how beautiful and how "us" they were. Dayna had done some beautiful work for family and mutual friends, so I knew she would be the right fit for our updated photos and announcement pictures of our growing family. Not only was Dayna easy going and easy to work with, but she captured beautiful shots of us while depicting the essence of who we are. Can't recommend Dayna enough! I have the hardest time taking pictures of my boys. She got them to smile and they had a blast running around/playing! There was no pressure to look perfect, just us having a good time with our boys. Which she captured perfectly. Also super patient if our boys needed a break!

Dayna was such a sweet, calm, and fun presence on our wedding day! She had everything ready that we needed, but was ready to go with the flow of whatever we wanted. Hiring Dayna to capture moments always ends up being more than expected. She's prompt and friendly, all the things you'd already assume. What stands her out from the rest is her effort, her attention to detail, and honestly her turnaround time. Dayna will treat you like a sister, mother, daughter, friend, etc. and you'll feel at home with her. I have two littles and a husband who is too good to me, but let's be honest - tolerates the camera - and the pictures I receive each session look like they were hired models. I don't know how she does it, but you should definitely hire her.

Dayna is an absolute visionary! We had her come to our property to take family shots and photograph our revel photos for our 2nd baby due in April and WOW these photos came our stunning! I had absolutely no ideas for the photos but Dayna took charge and knew exactly what to do. She was extremely easy going which helped make our awkward, goofy selves feel so comfortable and capturing every beautiful moment and emotion we felt that morning. I'm so lucky to have these memorable photos for years to come and look forward to our next session with her after our 2nd baby girl arrives!

I hired Dayna to do two back-to-back photo sessions for me since we were renting out a studio. We started off with a mama & me session for me and my son, and then went into a branding session for my business.
I was impressed by just how well Dayna handles herself under what to me would be a stressful situation. It was near my sons nap time, so he was getting fussy but Dayna kept him engaged the entire time. Instead of trying to force him into things he didn't want to do, she watched what he wanted and followed his lead, allowing the moments captured to be authentic instead of posed. My mom had come with us to take him after the first half of or shoot and she even snapped some photos of the three of us. That was really special since we don't have many photos together.
And then when it came time to the branding shoot, we just let loose and had fun! I don't love being in front of the camera, but Dayna made the whole thing feel natural and relaxed. If you’re in the market for a photographer, she’s your go-to for any occasion.

Dayna was absolutely wonderful to work with! My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how much fun the session was. She was laid back and made us feel super comfortable the whole time. She was amazing with our 15 month old who refused to sit still the whole time. She's great to work with, professional, communicative and all around a joy of a photographer!

My fiance and I showed up on one of the hottest days of summer, but Dayna's approach allowed us to settle into a successful shoot without any hangups. Her ability to make folks comfortable, no matter the circumstance, is truly a gift and really made for some terrific photos that we now have forever.
The turnaround was so quick and we are so happy with the photos that we plan to book Dayna again in the future! 10/10 recommend!
